Nargis Ibrahim’s husband Muhammad Ibrahim lives in a rented house with his seven children and has a rented laundry shop. He has been in this business for two decades but it has always been difficult for him because he does not have hi-tech washing machines. Ibrahim has to buy supplies for his shop including a washing machine, dry cleaning equipment and an iron but he does not have any money and therefore he needs 40,000 rupees in assistance. With this loan, Ibrahim is hopeful in reestablishing his business without further borrowing, so that he too can earn money with dignity.
