Shoukat Ali, 37, is married and blessed with three children. He has been running a grocery and stationary shop for the past five years. His shop is located near schools. Due to the current pandemic and the ensuing lock-downs, however, the schools were closed for seven month and he suffered a great loss in business. He wasn’t even able to pay the shop rent for the last four months. Now that the schools have reopened, he has no money to purchase products. He is hoping for financial support of PKR 50,000 from Islamic relief to purchase grocery and stationary materials.
